AUREFOLD is one author's work: the chapters, the charts, the sigils, the faces, this archive. The Bell of Silence is finished in draft; sponsorship buys the hours the next stages need — revision, publication, and Book Two — and sponsors walk closest to the work: new pages and plates reach them first, and their names are remembered in the acknowledgements when the book goes to print.
